A farm murder took place on 16 August 2022, on a farm 15 kilometers outside of Olifantshoek, in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. At 09:00 a neighbouring farmer made the gruesome discovery of a woman, who had her hands tied behind her back, brutally murdered in her farmhouse.
The woman’s husband was later found in the veld, he had also been assaulted and had his hands tied. He had managed to untie himself when he was found.
He was admitted to hospital with serious injuries.
The man’s vehicle, a GWM bakkie, was later discovered near the farm.
The attackers fled with the man’s cell phone and firearm.
The police are hunting two men who are the suspects in the attack and murder.
